It still manages to catch me by surprise when my kids are even more awesome than I suspect. As their mother I am my children's loudest cheerleader and staunchest supporter. But every now and then even I am blow away my what my kids accomplish. My oldest boy is what I call a "natural hunter." He loves to be outdoors, is interested in all things hunting and fishing and spends hours practicing his aim, hunter safety and other related skills needed to, as he puts it "get meat on the table." He is responsible, level-headed and has cooler nerves then most grown men I know, especially when it counts. Yesterday he shot his very first wild turkey! 21.7 pounds, one clean shot-turkey on the table. Congratulations to my amazing son, who has once again showed me how it's done, we'll save you a drumstick....
